The Leonhardt family hands over the Wolfsbrunn guest house to MeineZeit AG
On May 3rd, the time had come when MeineZeit AG took over the Wolfsbrunn guest house in Hartenstein. Last Monday, a small but very solemn handover of the stately hotel took place in Wolfsbrunn park. MeineZeit AG is entering a new era in the state of Saxony. After the successful trio of Brandenburgers (René Kowatsch and Susanne Du Chesne - board members and Torsten Splanemann Du Chesne - chairman of the supervisory board of MeineZeit AG) the SATAMA Sauna Resort & SPA at Scharmützelsee for 20 years as well as the Spreewald branch in Schlepzig since 2012 and since 2018 Hotel-Resort Märkisches Meer am Scharmützelsee, they never tire of evolving the company with its 190 employees. The Wolfsbrunn guest house has been run by the Leonhardt brothers for the past 20 years and is now set to reopen - as early as May of this year - under new management. Business travelers are expected in the next few weeks. The new owners hope that the booked weddings and private trips can take place starting in June and that guests will soon be able to visit the renowned restaurant "Artichoke" to enjoy fine wines and good cuisine.
The crew around Torsten Splanemann-Du Chesne already has bubbling thoughts about expanding the hotel, which from now on will operate under the name "DAS WOLFSBRUNN - Meine Zeit im Erzgebirge".
In January, the owners of MeineZeit AG visited the Wolfsbrunn guest house for the first time, and it immediately cast a spell over them. Despite the short period of time, a friendship developed between the Leonhardt family and MeineZeit AG, which would soon bear further fruits. Part of Uwe Leonhardt's family will participate in MeineZeit AG, so that further growth can be expected and the company can be excited. Last but not least, the inscription that the Leonhardt family affixed to the linden tree that was planted at the time of the handover makes clear: “One seldom writes a beautiful story alone”, the words will unite both “families” in the future to come.
